Who would have thought Silicon Valley needed yet another accelerator program?

Geraldine Le Meur, Carlos Diaz and Pierre Gaubil launched a new program exactly a year ago. The Refiners specializes in helping foreign startups (okay mostly French for now but it’s expanding) “get” Silicon Valley and launch here.

If you don’t live here you don’t really see the cultural differences between Silicon Valley and Europe. I wrote about how dinners are different in France and Silicon Valley and that was the post which had one of the highest audience I ever had.

13 startups presented today to 400 people in San Francisco, showing the need and the interest for a program like that. Congrats to the whole team and the startups. Very impressive achievement in just one year.
